The spirit of entrepreneurship has been with me since childhood. It all began with a lemonade stand at 5 years old, followed by a snow shoveling business at 8. Even then, I was reinvesting earnings and fostering a passion for growing ventures.
Music became another creative outlet. I landed a Foley artist role and built a successful freelance music composition website using SEO. This early foray into digital marketing proved to be a valuable skillset.
Determined to chase my dreams, I ventured to New York City. Resourcefulness became key as I found creative living arrangements while pursuing new opportunities. I identified a need for short-term rentals and began renting spare rooms through a new platform, which eventually led to a full-fledged SEO agency offering a range of digital services.
The 2007 recession presented a challenge, but it also forced me to adapt and diversify my revenue streams, a trait that has served me well throughout my career.
Transitioning to established companies broadened my skillset and business acumen. This experience ultimately led to ownership in a successful business and a rewarding exit.
With a growing family, I relocated to Puerto Rico. Today, I manage a diverse portfolio of businesses, each with its unique challenges and opportunities.
Over two decades as an entrepreneur, I've embraced the importance of diverse perspectives, learning from mistakes, and fostering a culture of continuous innovation. Gratitude for collaboration and a commitment to personal growth are central to my approach.
My journey highlights the importance of resilience, humility, and unwavering determination in the ever-changing world of business. With perseverance and a love for life's journey, I continue to create value and make meaningful contributions to both business and society.
